Looking for a way to erase the terrible memory of the How I Met Your Mother series finale from your head? It's only been a couple of weeks, but fans are still talking about the utter disappointment that most of them felt when they saw the ending of the show they had watched for nine seasons.

While there may be no actual way to delete the How I Met Your Mother finale from your mind, one thing that may help is watching the HIMYM actors in different roles. We've got just the thing to help.
Cobie Smulders, who played Robin on HIMYM, will be reprising her role as Maria Hill on an upcoming episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and we've got a whole bundle of photos to prove it.

As always, ABC is being pretty stingy when it comes to any details about the episode, which airs on April 29. Check out their synopsis and you'll see what we mean:
"Just when there's no one left to trust, Agent Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) — from Marvel's The Avengers and Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Solider — returns to team up with Coulson as S.H.I.E.L.D. is being destroyed around them."
So what will Maria Hill be doing when she meets up with Coulson's team? No clue. Why is she teaming up with them in the first place? No idea. All we do know is that she's back and, considering how things have been going for Coulson and his group recently, they need all the help they can get these days.
Could this mean that we're going see more of Smulders if the show does actually get picked up for Season 2? Right now, there don't seem to be any plans to add her to the cast, but that doesn't mean we can't wish for it, right?

In the first photo, Hill looks extremely serious.
More intensity in the second photo. Looks like the reunion won't be under happy circumstances.
Hill looks rather annoyed in the next photo. Perhaps she's just ready to get back to work.
