"Have you traveled abroad lately?" Carrey asked Letterman. "Have you ever kissed a monkey or licked an airport toilet seat?"
And (just in case): "Are you now or do you plan to be a member of ISIS?"

Letterman soon turned the tables. "You travel the world promoting the movies and such," he said. "Are you worried about diseases?"
"Once you've done a couple of press tours, you know, you welcome death," Carrey deadpanned. "You do, there's nothing left that's meaningful."
Plus, "I've been married a couple of times," he added, "so it takes a lot to scare me, Dave."
Ironically, Carrey has a reputation for being an anti-vaxxer — perhaps the deeper level of comedy here is that he's making fun of himself as well as society's Ebola paranoia.
