In the latest clip for the season premiere, she can be seen talking to a woman about her son.
"He brings me all the way out to Montauk, I'm sitting and I see the lighthouse. And I've never been to Montauk," Caputo tells the grieving woman.
The mother then reveals to Caputo that her son was buried in Montauk, New York, and she is overcome with emotion. "That's amazing. The significance of Montauk is everything with my son," she tearfully says. "My parents owned a home out there for over 25 years and my whole family life is around Montauk."

"So know that when you still go there, and you look into the water and you say, 'I wish you were here with me,' know that his soul is," Caputo tells her.
"That was my son's favorite place, and unfortunately he's buried there, so to me he's at home," the woman explains on camera.
